Merry Christmas

Here's a blast from Christmas past!  Did anyone else have a Chatty Patty?  You pulled the string & she said, "I'm Chatty Patty.  What's your name?"  My how technology has changed!

I just want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas!  I pray that everyone has a blessed holiday.  Enjoy your family & friends.  Cherish the moments that you have with them.  I know it sounds cliche` but, Jesus is the reason for the season.  I'll leave you with a statement I saw written by one of my FB friends.  "If you don't have Christmas in your heart, you will not find it under the tree."

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving!  I hope everyone enjoys their day.  I pray for traveling mercies for all those, including myself, that will be traveling to be with loved ones on this day.

One of the traditions of Thanksgiving is to tell what you are thankful for.  Today, I am thankful that I don't just need one day of the year express the things that I am thankful & grateful for in my life.  I am thankful that I have had the last 365 days since the last Thanksgiving Day to wake up every morning & tell God how thankful I am just to be alive.  That alone is a blessing in itself!

My hope prayer is for everyone to take time out of their day everyday to give God thanks.  Don't wait for one day of the year to roll around to express your thanks.  Have a blessed day!

During the summer, I photographed a sweet little toddler.  He was photographed about a month before his 2nd birthday.  It's awesome to see the world through the eyes of a child.  Him and his father were wonderful to work with.  Enjoyed taking these photos!

Recently, I had the opportunity to photograph a newborn for a dear friend of mine. She has just become a Mimi.  I was very excited to get experience taking photographs of a newborn.  My hat goes off to all the photographers out there that specialize in taking pictures of newborns.  It requires a special skill & a lot of patience.  Thanks Mimi for letting me take pictures of your precious grandson!

Tyanna & James

Earlier this year, I was able to capture images of my little sister  & her date going to the prom.  They were fun & sweet kids to photograph.  Can't wait to take prom pics again next year!  Wonder if she will have the same date!  Stay tuned to find out!

Teshanna & Carenado

What an amazing couple to photograph!  Teshanna & Carenado gave me the honors of letting me take their Maternity/Couple photos!  This was my very first time taking maternity pictures.  Although they were the first, they most definitely will not be the last!  They were a very easy couple to photograph.  Their love & excitement for one another and their expecting bundle of joy shined in every photo.  It was exciting to shoot photos of a fun loving couple.  Can't wait to take pics of Jordin after her arrival ;-)  Here are a few of the pics.  Hope you enjoy!

Wow!  Where do I start?  I'm a single parent of a beautiful little girl.  I work full time as a Registered Nurse.  My hobby is photography.  I have always enjoyed photography.  I like being on either side of the camera.  Earlier this year, I have become more passionate about being behind the camera.  It is truly a joy and an honor to be able to create photographic memories for families and friends.
